Vine Youth Clinic provides free and confidential general and sexual health care for youth ages 12 to 21.

Doctors and Youth Workers available to provide consultations to address your health and wellness concerns, such as:

  • Sexual Health – including birth control (free before 19 years old), STI testing, pap tests, pregnancy testing and counselling, Prep (HIV prevention medication) and HIV testing, and contraception information. Service is private and confidential.
  • General Health – including acne, muscular and joint pains. 
  • Mental Health Family physicians can provide consultation and/or referrals for issues including depression, stress disorders, anxiety. We do not provide counselling at the clinic, we but we can refer to counselling, information, and resources. 
  • Substance Use – Resources and information. Harm reduction supplies are available
  • Youth Workers from Alexandra Neighbourhood House are available daily, and during the clinic hours to support youth and their caregivers with concerns such as connecting with counselling, health services, financial assistance, information and support services, assistance with relationships (peer or family), family communication, housing, employment, education, financial resources, and more.  Call 604-538-5060.

We will provide referrals to other specialists, including counselling services, psychiatry, or Child and Youth Mental Health, if appropriate.

Vine Youth Clinic does not have clinical counsellors or a psychiatrist on our staff team.

Are you looking for a mental health assessment by Child and Youth Mental Health?

If you live in the South Surrey/White Rock catchment area, then our partners at Child and Youth Mental Health (CYMH), a division of Ministry of Child and Family Development, may be able to help you. They provide mental health assessments for children and youth up to the age of 18 years old. No doctor’s referral is needed to obtain their services. They are located in the same building as us at 15455 Vine Avenue, White Rock. For more information about CYMH services, including their clinical counselling services, please contact them directly at 604-542-3900 and select “1” for the White Rock/South Surrey local office.

Surrey Youth Clinic can provide free contraception youth up to age 19. Due to the COVID-19 response, clinic hours may change. Please call the clinic in advance. Do not go to the clinic without calling first. Location: 9634 King George Boulevard, Surrey. 604-585-5999.

Alexandra Neighbourhood House  – Youth and Family Workers provide one-to-one support for youth. Additionally, one-to-to-one support is available for parents, along with parenting education groups in South Surrey/White Rock. The program is free and confidential. Call 604-538-5060 or email reconnect@alexhouse.net. A worker is available during Vine Youth Clinic hours and by appointment outside of clinic hours. 

Foundry offers virtual, drop-in counselling, peer support, and group offerings. 

GetCheckedOnline is a free, easy to access service offered by BC Centre for Disease Control. It is available in Vancouver and a few other communities in BC.
